Epsilon – Means 5 is a new band based in Ōtautahi, Christchurch. For their brand they wanted a surfy, hipster vibe that looked not only cool but held a hidden meaning as well.

For the logo I wanted to do a surf board because you cannot get more surfy than a surf board. With the heading meaning being the 5 wave like lines running though the logo representing the 5 in their name. The number 5 has also been placed the middle of the waves as well.

This logo and brand works in many different ways and marks the start of my free-lance work in the design industry.
