Vortica Disc Golf in partnership with Wanaka, Timaru & Waimate Disc Golf was lucky enough to host the 48th running of the New Zealand National Disc Golf Championships in beautiful Knottingley Park, Waimate. This event was to be known as The 48th New Zealand Nationals - Knottingley Giants, presented by RPM Discs, and we wanted to run a full social media campaign and coverage for the event on the Vortica and Wanaka Disc Golf social media channels. As the social media manager for Vortica it was my job to run this and make sure the posts were going up on time and with the correct intimation.

The 10 days prior to the 4-day long tournament consisted of 3 or 4 posts a day covering sponsors, hole previews and other important announcements. During the tournament it was a minimum of 4 posts a day covering the MPO and FPO leaders, hot round and shout outs to our Vortica sponsored players.

In the end the coverage totalled 57 posts and was a great success pulling in a large amount of views, likes and eyes on Vortica. Well worth the time spend on the project!
